Sometimes, things need to fall apart for new things to come through.
Right before the July 4th weekend, our fridge broke down. Like seriously... great timing. I had an inkling something was wrong when a couple days earlier, I grabbed a juice to drink and it was fermented. I thought someone put alcohol in there lol. It was so strong I couldn't finish drinking it so I poured it out. The next day, the spinach had spoiled. So now we're thinking "Okay. what's going on?"The fridge wasn't cooling and the food in the freezer wasn't freezing. We had to fill a bin full of ice to preserve or try to preserve the rest of the food. The mechanic stopped by ( he didn't do much) and suggested we get a new fridge. Well, why not? We may as well as well agree to the upgrade and a day later, we had a brand new fridge up and running.
This experience though very inconvenient was a moment to reflect.
I thought "Wow, out of our fridge breaking we got a brand new fridge, looked better, slightly bigger, brand new working light, etc. This was a blessing in disguise." It really was a blessing in disguise. Through all the groaning and inconvenience of having to throw out some food and trying to salvage the rest, something good came out of it. Sometimes, things need to break down for you to have a breakthrough, for your blessing to come through, for God to show Himself. Sometimes everything has to fall apart and go awry for you to take a step back and reevaluate yourself and situation. Maybe, you may have to remove yourself or slow things down to see things for what they are. So when you're in the storm, the whirlwind, the chaos, remember that something positive will come out of it and there will be a blessing waiting for you once the storm has calmed down.
