Reclaiming my time
Which one of you by worrying adds an extra hours to their day?
Throughout the Bible there are so many promises made and seen. Some promises were generational and some promises were forfeited because of disobedience (Lord help us).
As I was thinking over this asking God if his promises for me would come true, the story of Abraham and Sarah came to mind.
Good one, God.
Sarah was in her old age when she was promised to have a child. Her promise was contingent on Abraham because he had been faithful God blessed him. When you align yourself with the right people & mission you will receive overflow.
Sarah however doubted God and decided to take matters into her own hands by offering Haggai her servant to Abraham as a surrogate! The girl gave her man permission to sleep with her maid to make the "promise" come true. What?! By doing this she almost destroyed her family and created a whole lineage (Ishmael) that is still fighting with each other today.
In that little instance I realized I shouldn't be doubting it if it's His will. He's not a man that he should lie. He doesn't make promises he can't keep. Does He reign?
By staying connected to the Word you will cease to worry when you realize how faithful He is. I encourage you to meditate on these verses below. Write down what you're worried about take it to God and ask him to help your unbelief. Trust in Him.
